COMMERCIAL AIR CONDITIONING MAINTENANCE

THE AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE HAS TWO MAIN AREAS OF FOCUS:

Commercial Air Conditioning MaintanenceFirst and foremost the health and wellbeing of the building occupants. The indoor unit while in the process of heating or cooling circulates the room air through its interior. There is a filter designed to remove the larger particles from the air which we clean and sanitise during our maintenance visit. We inspect and report on the soiling of the interior of the indoor unit and advise on when a major strip clean and sanitise is required. We flush out the condensate drain and add a chemical tablet to ensure there is no stagnant water sitting in the drain or indoor unit. This will ensure the system is always hygienic and improving the office environment rather than detracting from it.

Secondly the reliability and longevity of the equipment. By cleaning and sanitising the component parts (particularly the moving parts) we extend the life of the system and improve reliability. We aim to catch problems before they occur thereby saving time, trouble and expensive equipment failure. Outdoor units have varying degrees of corrosion protection when supplied from the manufacturer. Equipment life is dependent on the quality of this protection and environmental factors such as proximity to the ocean or corrosive elements. If corrosion is left unattended the lifecycle can be dramatically reduced. During the annual maintenance the outdoor units are inspected for signs of corrosion.
