Air conditioning in Auckland is no different than any other industry. It is a field that has its share of cowboys, as well as its share of genuine professionals who are true authorities in their field. We belong firmly to the latter group. We’re experienced, skilled, knowledgeable and dependable, with an enviable status amongst our peers.
We don’t say all this to show off. Although we’re proud of what we’ve achieved, we want to point out our professional accomplishments to give you reassurance that we can handle even the largest commercial air conditioning projects. It also allows you to compare our experience and skills against other companies in the region. With this in mind, we invite you to check our Associations and Memberships page, as this is another way you can confirm that we are a legitimate company with connections to some of the most reputable industry groups in New Zealand and the rest of the world. They include:
- Climate Control Companies Association. The CCCA recognises sector groups within our field such as mechanical services including heating and air conditioning, refrigeration, heat pumps, ventilation, suppliers and manufacturers. The CCCA board addresses industry-wide issues at the national level with the aim of promoting high standards of business competence and industry conduct for companies like ours that work in climate-controlled environments.
- Independent Qualified Person (IQP) has the authority to perform inspections and monitoring for compliance schedules and building WOFs. This is a person who Auckland Council has confirmed is qualified to inspect, maintain and report on certain compliance schedule items. Under this authority, we are also approved authors for mechanical ventilation and air conditioning.
- I.R.H.A.C.E Membership. Formed in 1989 after the amalgamation of NZIHVE (the New Zealand Institute of Heating and Ventilating Engineers) and NZIRACE (the New Zealand Institute of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers), this organisation promotes the economic well-being and quality of life of its members, as well as the refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning industries while improving the economic well-being and quality of life of every New Zealander.
- ASHRAE Membership. While the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers is a United States-based professional association looking to advance the design and construction of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, it has a global influence. There are more than 57,000 members in 132 countries.
Our associations and memberships give you a good idea of our standing in the air conditioning industry. When looking for a company to handle your commercial air conditioning project, it is that sort of experience and expertise you want to have on your side.
